ABOUT T.C.T COMPOUND MITRE SAWS
Tungsten Carbide Tipped, or T.C.T, blades are made from alloy steel with the tips of the teeth brazed with tungsten carbide inserts. These blades produce a faster cut while also maintaining an acceptable chip load per tooth by operating at much higher temperatures and surface speeds than standard coldsaw blades.
Get a faster, cleaner cut when working with non-ferrous metals like aluminium, copper and brass by using a T.C.T saw.
Even though T.C.T blades provide a superior cut and hold a very long wear life, they are less resistant to shock. MACC’s T.C.T saws are designed and built to deliver reduced vibration during the cutting process to help prolong the blade life.
WHY CHOOSE T.C.T COMPOUND MITRE SAWS
Mitre saws are the superior solution to creating angled cuts, crosscuts, and mitre cuts thanks to the extremely high level of precision they provide. Paired with a T.C.T blade, these saws are the best of the best for cutting non-ferrous metals.
Compared with the basic mitre saw model, a compound mitre saw offers both single and dual bevel options. Without having to move the workpiece, you can make left and right bevel cuts with the dual bevel option.
When working with bulky, awkward or cumbersome items or if you’re required to make bevel cuts or need to complete fast & precise cuts, a T.C.T saw is particularly effective.
